Discover La Soufflerie
There’s something undeniably special about glassblowing—the delicate dance of fire, breath, and molten glass coming together to create something that’s both functional and beautiful. That magic is at the heart of La Soufflerie, a Parisian atelier dedicated to preserving the centuries-old tradition of mouth-blown glassware. We're thrilled to share that we now carry some of their exquisite pieces in the shop!
Their Story
La Soufflerie is a family-owned and operated company based in Paris created by wife and husband team, Valentina and Sébastien Nobile. When they began La Soufflerie, 100% mouth-blown glassmaking (without any machinery) was a dying art.
They now have a non-profit organization which gives back to glassblowers to keep the art alive and support its craftsmen!

Handcrafted Elegance
Each piece is handmade using traditional techniques passed down through generations. From the initial design or clay sculpture, a plaster moule à pièce (half mold) and coquilles (shell) mold are made, and finally cast into a bronze mold to shape the blown glass.
The artisans work with recycled glass, giving discarded materials new life as vases, pitchers, and glassware. No two pieces are exactly alike, and that’s part of their charm—each one tells a story.

Vases to Elevate Your Arrangements
I've always admired the effortless way the French style their flowers. As I share in French Blooms, flowers in France aren’t reserved for special occasions—they’re a weekly ritual, picked up at the market and placed in a beloved vase. Whether it’s a treasured heirloom or a unique antique find, I’m always on the hunt for beautiful containers, and La Soufflerie’s pieces instantly spoke to me. They’ve became a natural addition to my collection, and I’m excited to bring them to Andover so they can soon be part of yours as well!
